Round 213 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As I examine the parchment, I notice that the cryptic message seems to be written in a language I don't recognize. Suddenly, the air around us begins to distort, and the flickering light emanating from the box grows brighter. The ground beneath our feet shudders violently, and I feel a wave of instability wash over me. The box slides forward, its lid opening with a loud creak. A dark, swirling mist bursts forth from the box, enveloping us in its depths. The mist seems to be pulling us in, drawing us closer to the heart of the tower. I can feel the weight of the dimension's magic bearing down on us, threatening to consume us whole. The Voice's words echo in my mind, "Face your greatest fear to unlock the path ahead." The mist begins to take shape, forming a twisted reflection of our deepest terrors. We are forced to make a decision: step into the heart of the mist, or risk being consumed by it.
I take a deep breath, my heart pounding in my chest as I stare at the swirling mist before us. This is it. The moment of truth. Whatever lies beyond this twisted reflection... it's going to be the thing that scares me most in this world. I glance over at Varrika, her face set in a grim mask of determination. She's not going to let this darkness win... and neither am I. But I know that we can't just charge ahead blindly. We need to be smart about this. We need to be careful. I take a tentative step forward, my crossbow raised and ready to fire at the first sign of trouble. The mist seems to beckon me closer, its tendrils reaching out to pull me in. I can feel the weight of my deepest fears bearing down on me, threatening to consume me whole. But I won't let them. I've faced worse than this in my time. I've stared down goblins and trolls and creatures that would make even the bravest warrior quake in their boots. And I've always come out on top. This twisted reflection... it's nothing more than a challenge. A test of my will and my strength. I take another step forward, my eyes fixed on the swirling mist before me. Whatever horrors this place has in store for us... we'll face them together. Or die trying. I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what's to come. "Alright," I mutter, my voice strained. "Let's see what we're dealing with here."

I take a tentative step forward, my mace raised and ready to strike at the first sign of trouble. The mist seems to beckon me closer, its tendrils reaching out to pull me in. But I won't let them. I've got Merrin at my side, and together we'll face whatever horrors this place has in store for us. I glance over at Merrin, her face set in a grim mask of determination. She's not going to let this darkness win... and neither am I. But I know that we can't just charge ahead blindly. We need to be smart about this. We need to be careful. And with that, I take a deep breath and step into the heart of the mist, my mace at the ready and my senses on high alert. Whatever horrors this place has in store for us... we'll face them together. Or die trying.
