Varrika's arms tighten around Merrin's waist as they plummet towards the ground, the force of their fall causing them to tumble through the air. The heavy mace in Varrika's hand clatters against the rope they were using to hold onto the ledge, its metallic sound echoing through the chasm.

Merrin · Rogue

I cling tightly to Varrika as we plummet through the air, my heart pounding in my chest. The wind whips at our faces and the chasm yawns below us, but I can't let go of the book. It's too important. "Varrika!" I shout over the howling wind, my voice strained with fear and determination. "We have to find a way to use this book's power!"

I can feel the energy pulsing through my hands, the pages glowing brighter with each passing second. It's as if the book is alive, drawing me closer to it with an invisible force. I know it's dangerous, but I also know that we can't let it fall into the chasm below. With a sudden burst of strength, I manage to grab onto Varrika's arm, pulling her closer to me as we hurtle through the air. "Hold on!" I shout, my voice strained with effort. "We have to work together if we're going to survive this!"

But even as I say the words, I can feel the book's power growing stronger, the energy pulsing through my veins like liquid fire. It's as if the book is trying to take control of me, drawing me closer and closer to the edge of the ledge. And in that moment, I realize with a sickening certainty that we're all doomed unless we can find a way to harness this power before it's too late. I look down at the book in my hands, the pages glowing with an otherworldly light. "Varrika," I shout, my voice barely audible over the howling wind, "I need you to trust me. We have to try something, or we're all going to die here."

I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what I'm about to do. With a sudden burst of strength, I raise the book above my head, the energy pulsing through my veins like a live wire. "Hold on!" I scream, my voice filled with both fear and determination. And then, with a final surge of power, I let go of the book, watching as it soars through the air towards the chasm below. For a moment, I feel a sense of weightlessness, as if the energy has been lifted from my body. And then, just as quickly, I feel Varrika's arms tighten around me, pulling me close as we plummet towards the ground. I can only hope that whatever force is guiding this book will be enough to save us from our fate. But deep down, I know that there's still a chance we might not make it out of this alive. All I can do now is hold onto Varrika and pray that the gods are watching over us.

Varrika

Varrika · Fighter

I cling tightly to Merrin as we plummet through the air, my heart pounding in my chest. "Merrin, no!" I shout over the howling wind, my voice strained with urgency. "We can't let go of the book!"

But even as I say the words, I know that it's too late. The book has already been released from Merrin's grasp, and it's falling away from us, its pages glowing with an otherworldly light.

I watch as the book soars through the air, the wind whipping at its pages. For a moment, I feel a sense of relief, as if the danger has been lifted from our shoulders. But then I realize that we're still falling, and the ground is getting closer with each passing second.

I look down at Merrin, who is clinging to me for dear life. "Merrin!" I shout, my voice filled with both fear and determination. "We have to find a way to survive this fall!"

I can feel the weight of my mace in my hand, and I know that it's our only chance at survival. With a sudden burst of strength, I raise the mace above my head, ready to strike at anything that might be lurking in the darkness below.

But even as I prepare myself for battle, I can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. The book's power seems to be growing stronger with each passing second, and I can feel it pulsing through my veins like a live wire.

I look down at Merrin, who is still clutching the book to their chest. "Merrin," I shout, my voice strained with both fear and determination, "we have to find a way to use this power. It's our only chance at survival!"

But even as I say the words, I know that there's still a chance we might not make it out of this alive. The ground is getting closer with each passing second, and the book's power seems to be growing stronger with each passing moment.

I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what I'm about to do. With a sudden burst of strength, I raise my mace above my head, ready to strike at anything that might be lurking in the darkness below.

"Hold on!" I scream, my voice filled with both fear and determination. "We're going to make it through this, Merrin. No matter what happens, we're going to find a way to survive!"

And with that, I close my eyes and let myself fall, trusting in the power of the book to guide us to safety.
