As Halie's words echo through the chamber, Varrika takes another step forward, her eyes fixed on something in the distance. Her skin is deathly pale, and her black eyes seem to bore into my very soul. I raise my mace, ready to strike at whatever emerges from those twisted reflections, but before I can act, Varrika's reflection in the mirror beckons to me, urging us to step closer and uncover the truth. Suddenly, a loud creaking sound echoes through the chamber, and the ground beneath us trembles violently. The air crackles with eldritch energy, and the twisted reflections in the mirrors seem to writhe and twist like living things. I stumble, my foot slipping on a patch of slick stone, and my mace clatters to the ground. Halie's voice is laced with panic as she cries out, "Merrin, no! Don't let it pull you in!" But it's too late. Varrika's reflection has already reached out and grasped my arm, its cold fingers wrapping around my wrist like a vice. I feel a surge of fear and uncertainty as I realize that we are at a crossroads, with the mirror's secrets waiting to be uncovered - but at what cost?

Varrika · Fighter

As Merrin's mace clatters to the ground and Halie's panicked cry rings out, I feel a surge of fear and uncertainty. The air crackles with eldritch energy, and the twisted reflections in the mirrors seem to writhe and twist like living things.

But even as the ground trembles beneath my feet and the mirror's reflection beckons to me, I know that we are at a crossroads. We have come too far, sacrificed too much to turn back now.

I reach out with my free hand, grasping for something - anything - to steady myself. My fingers brush against the cold stone wall, and I feel a moment of relief as I regain my balance.

Halie's voice is laced with panic as she cries out, "Merrin, no! Don't let it pull you in!" But I know that we cannot turn back now. We have come too far, sacrificed too much to give up on our quest for the Time-Splitting Sword.

I turn to face Merrin, my eyes fixed on the mirror's reflection as it beckons to us with an unnatural hunger. "We have to do this," I say, my voice steady despite the fear that threatens to overwhelm me. "We can't turn back now."

I take a step forward, my hand still gripping Merrin's arm tightly as we move towards the mirror's reflection. The air crackles with energy, and I can feel a strange sensation spreading through my body, like a thousand needles pricking at my skin.

But even as I step closer to the mirror, I know that we are at a crossroads. We have come too far, sacrificed too much to turn back now.

As we approach the mirror's reflection, I can feel the power of the crystal growing stronger, its influence seeping into my mind like a poison. The ground beneath us trembles again, and I can feel the fear rising up inside me, threatening to overwhelm me entirely.

I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what lies ahead. "We have to do this," I say, my voice steady despite the fear that threatens to overwhelm me. "We can't turn back now."

And with that, I step forward, my hand still gripping Merrin's arm tightly as we move towards the mirror's reflection, ready to face whatever lies beyond - and whatever secrets it may hold.

Merrin · Rogue

As Varrika takes another step toward the mirror, her eyes fixed on its twisted reflection, I feel a surge of panic rising in my chest. The air crackles with eldritch energy, and the ground beneath our feet trembles ominously.

Halie's panicked cry echoes through the chamber: "Merrin, no! Don't let it pull you in!" But Varrika's grip on my arm is like a vice, and I can feel the mirror's reflection beckoning to us, its grotesque shape promising some hidden truth that I dare not uncover.

I reach out with my free hand, grasping for something - anything - to steady myself. My fingers brush against the cold stone wall, and I feel a moment of relief as I regain my balance. But even as I do so, I know that we are at a crossroads, with the mirror's secrets waiting to be uncovered - but at what cost?

I turn to face Varrika, my eyes wide with fear and uncertainty. "Varrika, wait!" I cry out, my voice shaking. "We don't know what's on the other side of that mirror. It could be dangerous."

But even as I speak, I can feel the power of the crystal growing stronger, its influence seeping into my mind like a poison. The ground beneath us trembles again, and I can feel the fear rising up inside me, threatening to overwhelm me entirely.
