Round 92 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As Varrika reaches for the crystal, the ground beneath her gives a loud creaking sound, and the chamber begins to shift around her. The twisted reflections in the mirrors pulse with an eerie light, beckoning to Merrin with a hidden truth. Halie's eyes flash with an intense blue glow, and she says, "The Time-Splitting Sword is responding to your presence, Merrin. It will not be silenced." Suddenly, the chamber fills with a swirling mist that seems to seep from the walls themselves, and the air grows thick with an otherworldly energy. As the mist envelops Varrika, her eyes roll back in her head, and she begins to chant in a language that sounds like madness. The crystal at the bottom of the pit starts to glow brighter, pulsing with an intense power that seems to be calling to Varrika. Merrin takes a step forward, her hand reaching out to grab Varrika's arm, but it's too late. Varrika's body begins to glow with a soft blue light, and she disappears into the swirling mist. Merrin is left standing alone in the chamber, surrounded by the twisted reflections of herself and Varrika. The mist swirls around her, making it difficult to see more than a few feet in front of her. Halie's voice echoes through the chamber, "Merrin, what have you done?"
Halie's voice echoes through the chamber, filled with concern and fear. "Merrin, what have you done?!"
I spin around, my heart pounding in my chest as I try to make sense of what just happened. Varrika... she's gone, vanished into the swirling mist that fills the chamber. The ground beneath us trembles again, and I can feel the power of the crystal growing stronger, its influence seeping into my mind like a poison.
"Halie, I don't know what happened," I say, my voice shaking as I try to steady myself. "One moment Varrika was here, and the next... she was gone."
I take a step forward, my hand reaching out to grab at the mist, as if I could somehow pull Varrika back from wherever she went. But the mist is cold and heavy, pressing against my skin like a physical weight.
"Halie, we need to find her," I say, my voice filled with determination. "We can't leave her behind in this place."
But even as I speak, I know that we are in grave danger. This place... it's changing us, twisting our minds into something else. And if we don't find a way out soon, we may all be lost forever in this twisted realm.
I take a deep breath, trying to steady myself as the ground trembles once again. "Halie, what do we do now?" I ask, my voice shaking but determined. "How do we find Varrika in this place? How do we get out of here before it's too late?"
The twisted reflections in the mirrors seem to beckon to me, their grotesque shapes promising some hidden truth that I dare not uncover. But I know that we must find a way out of this place before it's too late. For Varrika... for all of us.
I take a step towards the mirror, my hand reaching out to touch the shattered glass. The twisted reflection of myself seems to beckon to me, promising some hidden truth that I dare not uncover.
"Halie," I say, my voice shaking with fear and revulsion. "What is this place? What are we dealing with here?"
I stagger to my feet, my head spinning as I try to make sense of what just happened. Varrika... she's gone, vanished into the swirling mist that fills the chamber. My heart races as fear and confusion wash over me. "Varikka!" I shout, my voice echoing off the walls. "VARIKKA!"
I spin around, searching the mist for any sign of her, but it's useless. The air is thick with an otherworldly energy, making it difficult to see more than a few feet in front of me. "Merrin," Halie's voice cuts through the chaos, "We need to focus on finding a way out of here. Varrika... she may have already moved on."
I shake my head, trying to clear the fog from my mind. "No," I say, my voice shaking. "We can't leave her behind. We need to find her."
