Seraphine's slender fingers hover just above the dark glass, hesitating for a long moment as she stares at her own distorted reflection. The surface ripples like water disturbed by unseen currents, and her image seems to shift and contort in ways that defy explanation. "I... I think it wants me to touch it properly," she hums, more to herself than to Jeane standing beside her. "There's something behind this barrier—something ancient and powerful enough to make my teeth ache just being near it." Her gaze remains fixed on the mirror as she slowly lowers her hand until her palm makes contact with the cool surface. The moment her skin touches the glass, a jolt of electricity seems to course through her entire body, and her eyes widen in shock. "Oh gods—it's like... like I can feel the magic itself flowing into me," she gasps, her fingers spreading across the glass as she leans closer. "Jeane, you have to see this—the world on the other side is... it's not like anything I've ever seen before. The trees themselves are alive with power, and everything moves in patterns that defy normal perception." Her reflection has stopped shifting entirely now, staring back at her with an expression of pure wonder mixed with barely contained terror. "I think... I think we're meant to go through," Seraphine continues in a voice barely above a whisper. "The magic is calling to me—showing me things that no mortal should ever be allowed to see." She turns to face Jeane fully now, her eyes glowing faintly with residual power. "But I need you to understand something—once we step through that mirror, there's no guarantee we'll ever find our way back. The laws of reality as we know them might not even apply anymore." Her slender hand reaches out to grasp Jeane's arm tightly. "If we do this, we're walking into the very heart of magic itself—and I can't promise what will happen when we get there."
