Jeane's sharp eyes narrow as she studies the complex patterns etched into the stone door before them. The air inside the hidden passage feels heavy and thick with anticipation, charged with old magic that pulses with an unstable energy. She traces the lines of one particularly intricate rune with her finger, her mind already working through possible solutions to the magical puzzle presented by this ancient barrier. But even as she concentrates on the task at hand, a part of her remains acutely aware of the groaning walls around them—the ancient stone complaining under its own weight, perhaps, or protesting the intrusion of living beings after centuries of silence. Seraphine crouches down beside her, examining the same section of the door with intense focus. The half-elven warrior's wings shift restlessly behind her, a visible sign of her own tension and unease in this confined space.
