Round 6

As Sister Hale stood watch at the nave entrance, her steady eyes scanned the horizon, the silver holy symbol on her chest a reassuring presence against the gathering storm clouds. The afternoon wind rustled the ash-choked road outside Gravehill, but no sound of approach broke the stillness. With a practiced air, she reported to Jeane and Silra that the immediate perimeter was clear, allowing them to proceed with their investigation.

Jeane's crimson eyes narrowed as she cast detect magic centered on the main altar area, her gaze flicking towards the western wall where minor sealing runes had revealed themselves earlier. She swept the perimeter of the nave, her movements economical and precise, searching for hidden triggers or other signs that might betray a hidden threat.
