Round 2

As Jeane examined the altar area, her crimson eyes narrowed on the faint symbol etched into the stone, pulsing with a soft, malevolent energy. She detected a subtle magical seal—a binding circle designed to contain something within the church—its inert state a testament to recent events. The air vibrated with its presence, making Jeane's black horns twitch with unease.

Silra moved with feline stealth, her silver-blonde hair catching the flickering light of the lantern as she circled the outer wall foundations. Her teal eyes narrowed, her pointed ears perked up with attention, as she searched for hidden entrances or structural weaknesses that could be exploited as entry points. Nearby, Sister Hale swept the nave's entrance area, clearing obstacles and stationing herself to monitor the road while Silra and Jeane investigated inside.

Sister Hale's steady gaze swept the darkened space, her silver holy symbol a comforting presence in the midst of this forsaken place. She had been warned about hidden traps and dangers, but her cautious concern was tempered by the need to rebuild the church as a sanctuary for their new faith.
