Round 2

[Narrator | Narrator]
The Narrator restates the undertaking plainly, fixes the stakes in the room, and presses the cast to make their positions clear before the meeting can end.

[Jeane | Sorcerer]
I roll my eyes at Hale’s moral posturing. Genuine faith is a luxury the desperate cannot afford, and we are certainly that. I tap the map with the unholy symbol. I will participate if success means not just a church but an organization capable of protecting its members from whatever hunts beneath these streets—city guards included. That requires resources, influence, and yes…a cruel smile curls my lips…corruption on a scale that makes Hale’s stomach churn. We either build something potent enough to matter or we die trying and feed the thing below. There is no middle ground here, sister—not if we want to survive this city long enough to make our mark.

[Silra | Rogue]
I'll play along—if Gravedigger spills everything he knows about the city and whatever’s under it first. Knowledge is leverage, and I’m not signing up to be anyone’s sacrificial lamb without understanding exactly what we’re barging into.

[Sister Hale | Cleric]
I stand slowly, my voice steady despite the exhaustion weighing on my limbs. I will not build a house of God to serve power-hungry interests or exploit the desperate. That is not ministry—that’s exploitation dressed in holy robes.
