The air reeked of decay and charred earth, heavy with the stench of Gravehill's downfall. Silra walked beside her, eyes scanning the two forking paths as if searching for a hidden trap in every rock.

Sister Hale trailed behind, her gaze fixed on Gravedigger Renn's huddled form in the darkness, her stomach churning with unease at his fear and the incomplete information he'd shared. "We cannot leave him there to be found," she whispered to Jeane and Silra, her voice barely audible over the howling wind.

Jeane nodded, her crimson eyes fixed on the twisted church silhouette looming ahead, its power buried beneath Gravehill waiting to be unearthed.
