Sister Hale moved back, her unholy symbol pulsing a warning against the counter-magic field that still suppressed arcane use in this chamber. The air grew colder, and the water's circulation intensified, as if the entity behind them was stirring once more.

Gravedigger Renn took another cautious step forward, his voice barely above a whisper. "The church... it's not just about rebuilding. It's about finding the Heart Chamber." His eyes were fixed on the shimmering crystal formations ahead, and Silra could sense a mix of determination and trepidation behind them. The ground shuddered again, and a section of the wall behind them collapsed inward, revealing the narrow, winding stairway that descended into darkness.

Sister Hale's gaze flicked towards Silra, her expression a mixture of concern and wariness. "We need to be careful," she said, her voice steady despite the tension in the air. "This place is full of traps and... other things." She paused, her eyes scanning the newly exposed section of wall. "I think we should proceed with caution. We don't know what's down there, or what kind of trial it might be."
