Round 3

Jeane Cromwell surveyed the abandoned church interior with calculated disdain, her crimson eyes gleaming with anticipation and barely contained hunger. The location served adequately for their purposes—isolated enough from prying eyes yet conveniently positioned for luring potential candidates. She trailed a finger along dusty pews, imagining them repurposed for very different rituals.

"First things first," she purred, more to herself than her companions. "Supplies and protection must be secured before any real recovery." The sorceress knew better than to let her companions suffer mere discomfort when she could provide so much more. But the exertions of tonight's activities had left them vulnerable—she needed to proceed with precision and restraint.

Across the room, Silra slumped against the wall opposite Jeane, her usual grace tempered by fatigue. The quest felt increasingly explicit in nature—a scavenger hunt with sexual objectives rather than heroic ones. But at least it was interesting enough to hold her attention away from the moral discomfort gnawing at her thoughts.

Her fingers twitched, already calculating potential risks and opportunities. Julia could prove useful for intel... maybe even recruitment if she's as curious as she claims. The thought sent a thrill through Jeane—another woman added to their growing collection of corrupted followers. But first things first: rest and recovery were paramount before they could...

Halie stood nearby, her expression torn between guilt and determination. She knew what was expected of them—the quest demanded it—but the weight of their actions pressed heavily upon her conscience. The city offered so many potential recruits, yet each conquest felt like a betrayal of everything she once believed in.

"We need to be careful," Halie warned softly, her voice barely carrying over the creaking floorboards. "Too much attention could draw the wrong kind of notice." Especially from Hera or others who might interfere with their plans.

Jeane nodded slowly, her eyes never leaving the altar where so much had already transpired that night. Rest was essential—both physical and mental—but the hunger within her demanded satisfaction. They had come too far to let exhaustion derail their progress now.

"Leave the details to me," she said, a predatory smile curving her lips. "I have... ideas."
