Round 14

Morning light through stained glass painted the dusty sanctuary in vibrant hues, a stark contrast to the tension thickening the air. Two women lay sprawled across the front pew—Hera beginning to stir groggily, Abby still lost in unconscious bliss. Jeane descended the stairs with deliberate caution, each footfall measured against the silence she needed to maintain. The morning light danced across her succubus wings as they rustled softly—a sound barely audible over Hera's soft breathing.
Silra moved past her toward the stairs, blade already drawn and held close to her thigh for concealment. The steel caught a stray beam of light, glinting with deadly promise. Her face was set in grim determination—this problem needed a permanent solution before it complicated their entire operation. Jeane's voice cut through the tension softly. "Wait." She moved closer, keeping her own movements slow and non-threatening. "There has to be another way."
Hera's eyes fluttered open fully now, focusing on the two women standing nearby. Confusion gave way to fear as she remembered where she was—and what had happened here last night.
