Round 126

Phase: resolution · forced · organic escalating

The air grew thick with a palpable tension that had nothing to do with the physical weight of the structural repairs. Jeane leaned against the wall, her wings folding tight against her back as she watched Silra work with the welder. The heat from the arc had nothing on the fire burning inside her—weeks of pent-up lust and frustration ready to explode at the slightest provocation.
"You're wasting time," she growled, her voice barely human. "We both know what this building wants. Stop pretending you don't feel it." Her crimson eyes never left Silra's face, tracking every flicker of expression as the elf worked methodically with the equipment. Halie had positioned herself between them, a futile gesture Jeane dismissed entirely. The human woman meant well, but she was utterly useless when it came to handling someone like her.
Silra straightened up slowly, turning to face Jeane with an expression that managed to be both exasperated and mildly concerned. "I'm not pretending anything," she said evenly. "But forcing the issue won't make this job go any faster." She set down the welder carefully before continuing. "You're making this harder than it needs to be—both for me and yourself."
Jeane's hands clenched into fists at her sides, her wings twitching with barely-contained aggression. The building's psychic demands pulsed through her like a physical ache, each wave sending fresh spikes of arousal and irritation coursing through her system. She took a menacing step forward, her voice dropping to a dangerous purr. "You've got forty minutes left according to your own estimate. That's more than enough time for me to relieve this pressure... one way or another."
The air in the room seemed to shimmer with sexual tension, the building's groans growing louder and more insistent as if feeding off Jeane's barely-restrained lust. Silra held her ground, but Abby could see the slight tension in her shoulders that betrayed her discomfort. Hera moved to stand beside Silra, her posture protective even as she shot a warning glance at Jeane.
"You need to calm down," Hera said firmly. "We all know what's happening here, but there's a time and place for... that kind of thing." Her eyes darted meaningfully toward the unfinished repairs. "And right now, we've got work to do."
Jeane let out a low, menacing chuckle that had nothing human about it. "Oh, I'm plenty calm," she purred, her gaze raking over Hera's form with predatory interest. "But you're starting to bore me with your endless virtue signaling." She took another step forward, closing the distance between them. The air seemed to grow warmer, heavier with her pheromones. "You want to help? Then get those clothes off and bend over that table."
The room temperature spiked suddenly as Jeane's control slipped further. Sweat beaded on Abby's forehead, not from exertion but from the sheer force of the succubus's barely-contained desire radiating through the space. She pressed herself against the wall, wishing she could disappear into it entirely.
Silra's expression remained carefully neutral, but a muscle twitched in her jaw. "I'm not having this conversation again," she said coolly. "I told you—I have work to do. And you touching me while I'm trying to weld steel plates is going to get someone killed."
Jeane's wings unfurled with a snap that made Abby flinch, the leathery membranes catching the light as they spread wide. "Oh, I wouldn't kill you," she said, her voice dripping with false sweetness. "I'd just make sure you came so hard you forget your own name." She licked her lips slowly, deliberately. "But fine—if you won't help me willingly, I'll just have to find someone else who will."
Her crimson gaze swept the room, coming to rest on Abby. The smaller woman's stomach dropped as Jeane's smile widened, revealing teeth that seemed slightly too sharp and numerous for a human. "What about you, little one?" Jeane asked, her voice a silken promise. "You look like you could use a break from being so... tense."
Abby shook her head frantically, her eyes wide with terror. "N-no," she stammered, her voice barely audible. "I-I can't. Please..."
Jeane's laugh was harsh and cruel. "Can't or won't?" she purred, taking a step toward Abby. The air seemed to shimmer around her, charged with sexual energy that made the hair on the back of Abby's neck stand up. "Because from where I'm standing, you look like exactly what I need right now."
Hera moved to intercept Jeane, positioning herself between the succubus and the cowering Abby. "Back off," she growled, her fists clenched at her sides. "She said no, and I'm not about to let you force yourself on her."
Jeane's eyes narrowed dangerously, a low hiss escaping her lips. "You're starting to piss me off, human," she snarled, her wings twitching aggressively. "I don't recall asking for your permission or approval."
The psychic pressure in the room intensified suddenly, like a physical weight pressing down on everyone present. The building's groans grew louder, more insistent—a hungry chorus demanding satisfaction. Silra continued working with the welder, her movements precise and controlled despite the escalating tension.
"You're not thinking clearly," Hera said, her voice tight with barely-contained anger. "This isn't you talking—it's the building's influence. Snap out of it before someone gets hurt."
Jeane's laughter was harsh and mirthless. "Oh, I'm thinking very clearly," she purred, her gaze raking over Hera's body with predatory interest. "And right now, all I can think about is how much I want to fuck you until you scream." She took another step forward, closing the distance between them. The air shimmered with heat and pheromones, making it difficult for Abby to breathe.
"Last chance to walk away," Hera warned, her stance shifting into a fighting posture. "I won't hesitate to put you down if you try anything."
Jeane's smile widened, revealing those unsettlingly sharp teeth once more. "Big words from such a little thing," she taunted. "But I'd love to see you try." With a sudden movement, she lunged forward, her hands reaching for Hera's shoulders.
The two women collided with a crash that sent equipment scattering across the floor. The welder clattered away from Silra's grasp as she whirled around to witness the struggle. Abby pressed herself even further into the wall, her heart pounding so hard she was sure everyone in the room could hear it.
"Stop it!" Silra shouted, dropping to her knees to retrieve the welder before it could start a fire. "Both of you, freeze right now!"
Her command cut through the haze of lust and anger like a blade, momentarily stunning both combatants. Jeane stumbled back a step, her wings beating wildly as she tried to regain her balance. Hera shook her head as if emerging from water, her fists unclenching slowly.
"What the actual fuck," Silra growled, rising to her feet with the welder held tightly. "I told you—no distractions while I'm working with this equipment. One spark could level this entire floor."
The reality of the situation seemed to crash down on everyone at once. The building's demands still pulsed through the air like a physical presence, but the immediate threat of violence had passed. Jeane stood panting, her chest heaving as she fought for control. Hera looked shaken but relieved, while Abby remained frozen against the wall, her eyes wide with fear.
Silra fixed each of them with a stern glare in turn. "We have a job to do," she said firmly. "And until this building is stable again, that takes precedence over everything else—including your... hormonal issues." She gestured sharply toward the door. "Abby, go wait outside. Hera, help me clear up this mess. Jeane... you stay put and try not to kill anyone before I finish these repairs."
The room fell into an uneasy silence as everyone scrambled to obey. Abby practically fled to the hallway beyond, her heart still racing as she leaned against the wall outside the suite. Through the closed door, she could hear muffled voices and the occasional clatter of equipment being moved.
Inside, Hera worked alongside Silra to right the overturned tools and furniture, her movements stiff with residual adrenaline. Jeane remained where she was, her wings drooping as she fought to regain control of herself. The building's psychic demands continued to pulse through the space, a constant reminder of the task at hand—and the dangers of ignoring it for too long.
As the minutes ticked by, the tension in the air slowly began to ease. Silra worked methodically with the welder, her focus unwavering as she reinforced the final section of wall. Hera kept a wary eye on Jeane while also assisting where needed, her earlier anger giving way to resignation.
Finally, with a series of loud pops and hisses, Silra completed the last weld. She set down the equipment carefully before turning to face the others, her expression showing both relief and exhaustion. "Done," she announced simply. "The structural integrity should hold for now."
Jeane let out a slow breath, her shoulders slumping as some of the tension bled out of her frame. "About time," she muttered, running a hand through her long white hair. "I don't know how much longer I could have kept it together."
Hera crossed her arms, eyeing Jeane with a mixture of concern and lingering suspicion. "You okay now?" she asked cautiously.
Jeane managed a tired smile that was almost genuine. "Yeah," she said softly. "The pressure's still there, but at least I can think clearly again." She glanced around the room, taking in the aftermath of their near-catastrophe with a grimace. "We need to find a better way to handle this... situation."
Silra nodded in agreement, wiping sweat from her brow with the back of her hand. "I'm open to suggestions," she said dryly. "But for now, let's get out of here before the building decides it wants round two."
