Round 123 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

I stand frozen in absolute terror, my heart pounding so loudly I can hear nothing but its frantic beat echoing inside my own skull. The sight of Jeane's wings unfurling, real and terrifying, has stripped away any semblance of control or composure I might have had left. They are magnificent and horrible all at once, shimmering with an unnatural sheen under the dim light of the penthouse suite. A shiver of pure dread runs down my spine as her gaze sweeps over us, locking onto each one in turn with a predatory intent that makes my blood run cold.
My own body feels like it belongs to someone else now, held fast by an unseen force within the binding field Jeane has woven around me. I try to scream, but no sound comes out; I try to run, but my feet are planted firmly on the floor, unmoving. Panic rises in my throat as I realize the full extent of my helplessness. This is what happened to them—the other women who were here before us. They tried to fight back too, and look how well that turned out.
I can feel a cold sweat breaking out across my skin as I watch Jeane move with an almost predatory grace, her wings casting eerie shadows on the walls behind her. She is no longer just a beautiful woman, she is something else entirely—a monster disguised in human form. And we are trapped here with her, at her mercy. A single thought screams through my mind over and over again: I have to get out of this room before it's too late.
I watch the tunnel's edges ripple under Jeane's strain—complex magic bleeding outwards when pushed beyond design limits. The binding field was meant to contain and control, not become a fucking battering ram for Hera's ego. "Hera," I say with exaggerated patience, "if you punch through that spellwork before the conditions are right, we lose containment and Abby loses her mind from the backlash." I move closer, deliberately casual. "You want to fix this? Work smarter not harder. Let me tweak the field's responsiveness so it yields instead of snaps."
I reach out—then pause, noting Jeane's possessive stance between Hera and the barrier. Right. Emotional landmines everywhere tonight. "Jeane," I continue, voice softer but no less sharp, "you're leaking power like a sieve. The more you force it, the more unstable everything gets. Step back, breathe, let me do what I actually know how to do."
