Phase: resolution · forced · organic escalating

Jeane maintained the barrier, her wings beating slowly to keep Hera pinned against the wall. The air crackled with magical pressure, and Silra shifted uncomfortably between duty and temptation. Hera struggled helplessly, watching in horror as Jeane controlled the situation with ease.
"Didn't stutter," Jeane said coolly. "Strip. Now."
Abby stood frozen mid-room, her wide brown eyes fixed on Jeane’s face in a mixture of terror and morbid curiosity. She had seen the wings when they first appeared—real, not some trick of the light or special effects—and the realization that this woman was something other than human sent a fresh wave of fear coursing through her veins.
Her feet seemed to move of their own accord, taking a hesitant step forward before she caught herself, forcing them back. What are you? The words came out as barely more than a whisper, but in the charged silence of the room, they seemed to echo loudly.
Jeane...
Silra positioned herself at the corridor edge, eyes fixed on the darkness beyond where Abby had disappeared. Her hand hovered near her concealed weapon, ready to draw if needed. The Rogue instincts screamed at her to investigate the tunnels, but something about this situation felt wrong—too easy, too convenient. And then there was Jeane...
The succubus woman stood between her and the tunnel entrance, wings spread wide in an electrified barrier that crackled with magical energy. She held Hera pinned effortlessly against the wall, air buzzing with the power of it. Silra could feel it prickling against her skin like tiny needles.
She knew better than to underestimate someone who could wield magic like this—especially someone as clearly dangerous as Jeane. But every second that passed meant Abby was deeper in those tunnels, possibly in danger...
Focus here, Silra. You're on guard duty. The words came out harsher than intended, but she needed Hera to understand—they had a plan, and rushing in blindly would only make things worse. She met the woman's eyes steadily, willing her to see reason despite the obvious distress etched across her face.
Jeane simply watched them both with those unnerving crimson eyes, saying nothing as she maintained the barrier effortlessly. Her attention seemed divided between keeping Hera pinned and monitoring Abby’s compliance in the other room...
This is going sideways fast, Silra thought grimly. Need to regain control before things spiral completely out of hand.
