I watch in awe as Jeane's wings unfurl, crackling with electrical energy. The sight is both terrifying and mesmerizing. I can feel the heat radiating from her feathers, and the air around us seems to hum with a strange, otherworldly power. But even though I'm afraid, I know I have to try to get through to Abby.
