Phase: resolution · forced · organic escalating

Hera watched the unfolding horror show with a paralyzed sense of dread. The electrical discharge from those wings was no mere party trick—it was genuine, lethal power crackling through the air between them. Every instinct screamed at her to back away, to find cover, but she couldn't abandon Abby. Not when the woman she loved might still be in there somewhere behind that monstrous facade.

Jeane's snarling rage made one thing clear: this thing was dangerous. Deadly even. The way it spoke of electrocution and death traps wasn't seductive—it was a genuine threat. A promise. But Hera couldn't let fear paralyze her completely. She had to find some way through this nightmare, some way to reach Abby.

So she took one small step forward, her heart hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird. The heat from those wings washed over her, making the air shimmer and distort. She could feel the electricity in her teeth, taste ozone on her tongue. But she didn't back away. Not yet. Not until she had to.

The flickering lights cast eerie shadows across the walls, making the entire room seem to pulse with sinister energy. Every surface seemed alive now, charged and dangerous. Even the air itself felt like a conductor, waiting for a spark. But Hera forced herself to focus on what mattered: Abby. She was still in there. Somewhere.

And Hera would not let this... thing... take her without a fight.
