Round 29 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

At Penthouse suite in a New York high rise, the pressure shifts from waiting to immediate risk. The ward answers the party's presence with a fresh pulse through the stone and no one can mistake it for safety. The nearest sign of danger is now structural instability from wardstone interaction. Someone has to answer that change now.
The wardstone’s pulse is wrong now—no longer just an appetite, but a demand. I can feel it in my teeth, a rhythmic pressure that makes the building groan like a dying beast. Whatever that thing wants, it’s not shy about making its displeasure known. We’re running out of time here. The structure won’t hold much longer if we keep ignoring whatever dark hunger is driving this response. And I sure as hell don’t plan on being buried under several tons of New York concrete because some eldritch ward got its feelings hurt. Silra’s right—it wants more than just proximity now. But public fucking in the middle of a groaning high-rise isn’t exactly my idea of a good time. We need to figure out what this thing is actually after, something specific enough to satisfy it without turning this into an episode of Demolition Man. If it’s sex we’re after, fine. But let’s at least do it somewhere that doesn’t come with a structural collapse warning light.
Hera stands in the middle of the penthouse suite, her heart pounding as the building groans around them. The wardstone pulses ominously, its sickly green light throbbing in time with the structure's creaks and moans. She feels a mix of fear and excitement coursing through her veins. "Silra," Hera says urgently, stepping closer to the elf rogue. "What does that thing want from us? What happens if we don't give it what it needs?"
The civilian woman's eyes dart around the room, taking in the adult toys, bondage gear, and other implements scattered about. She feels a rush of heat between her legs as she imagines using them with her companions, but the thought is overshadowed by the real danger of the collapsing building. Silra meets Hera's gaze, her own eyes dark with desire and apprehension. "I don't know," she admits. "But whatever it is, we're running out of time to figure it out."
Hera nods, her mind racing as she tries to think of a way to satisfy the wardstone's hunger without bringing the tower down around their ears. She looks to Jeane and Halie, hoping for some insight or guidance. "Maybe we should try... you know..." Abby suggests hesitantly, glancing at the adult toys and bondage gear. "If that's really what it wants..."
Hera swallows hard, her heart pounding as she considers the suggestion. The building creaks ominously around them, underscoring the urgency of their situation. But even with the fear gnawing at her insides, Hera feels a spark of excitement at the thought of indulging in such forbidden pleasures with her companions. She takes a deep breath and nods slowly. "Okay," she says quietly. "Let's do this."
And with that, the group moves to explore the depths of their desires, even as the wardstone pulses its demand and the building groans around them like a dying beast...
I don't think the stone cares about our definitions of 'private' right now. It wants what it wanted before—specifically us fucking—but now it's got teeth. The building is screaming at us through its bones. If we don't give it something substantial, and soon, I'm not sure we'll have time to find a more discreet location. The wardstone isn't asking anymore. It's demanding.
The building groans again, a low, ominous sound that seems to vibrate through the floor and up into my bones. I flinch, pressing myself back against the wall beside the door. My eyes dart around the room, taking in the faces of the others—the concern on Hera's face, the grim determination on Silra’s—and then back to where Jeane is standing over that strange stone thing. It pulses with an eerie green light, a sickening rhythm that seems to match my own frantic heartbeats.
"I don't understand what this is," I whisper, so softly it's almost inaudible even to myself. "But it doesn’t sound happy."
