Round 27 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As Jeane's eyes lock onto mine, her gaze flashing with a mix of warning and invitation, I feel a sudden jolt of electricity run through the air. The tension between her and Silra is palpable, their bodies tense and coiled like springs ready to snap. My heart pounds in response, my breath catching in my throat as I take in the sight of them. Silra's hand on Jeane's chin is still firm, her thumb tracing a slow path along Jeane's jawline. Jeane's eyes never leave mine, her gaze burning with a fierce intensity that makes my skin prickle. The air between us seems to vibrate with unspoken words, the weight of their unresolved intimacy hanging heavy over us like a challenge. Suddenly, Silra's eyes flicker to mine, her gaze searching for something - reassurance, perhaps, or a hint of what's to come. Her voice drops to a whisper, the words sending a shiver down my spine: "You're not going anywhere, are you?"
My eyes lock with Jeane's, her gaze burning into mine with an intensity I've never seen before. The air between us is electric, charged with a tension that makes my skin prickle and my heart race. Silra's hand on Jeane's chin is still firm, her thumb tracing a slow path along Jeane's jawline as she whispers something in her ear. I can see the way their bodies are coiled, tense and ready to spring into action at any moment.
And then Jeane turns to me, her eyes never leaving mine as she speaks in a low voice that carries an undercurrent of barely controlled anger. You may think this is over, but make no mistake—I am not done with you. The words hang heavy between them, a promise and a threat all at once. She sets her glass down carefully on the coffee table—too carefully—and crosses one long leg over the other, leaning back in Hera's chair as if she owns it completely. Her wings shift slightly behind her, dark leathery membranes catching the light.
You can't just walk away from this conversation after what you said earlier. A small smile plays at the corner of her lips—cold and dangerous. Or maybe that's exactly what you're trying to do? Run away rather than face the consequences of your actions? Her tone drips with sarcasm, but there's a current underneath it—the sound of someone who isn't used to being challenged and doesn't like it one bit.
But don't worry—I have no intention of letting that happen. We're going to finish this discussion right here, right now...
I lean back in Hera's chair, my wings settling behind me as I watch Silra's performance with a cold smile. You really think you can manipulate your way out of this? I say, my voice low and dangerous. You forget who you're dealing with, Silra.*
My eyes flick to Abby, still frozen in the doorway. Her fear is palpable, almost delicious. Don't worry, little one, I purr, this isn't over yet.
I stand slowly, deliberately, letting my wings unfurl to their full span before folding them back against my sides. Silra wants to finish this conversation? Let's finish it. Right here, right now. My hand moves almost of its own accord, reaching out to grasp her wrist and pull her closer.*
Halie can wait—her little moral crisis is nothing compared to what we have to settle between us. I lean in close, my lips barely brushing Silra's ear as I whisper, And trust me, pet, you haven't seen the full extent of what I'm capable of when pushed too far. But don't take my word for it—find out for yourself.*
With a sharp tug, I spin her around and press her back against the wall, caging her in with my arms. Now tell me again how this is over, I growl, my voice barely above a purr.
