I'm Hera, and I've learned that the best way to protect myself is to stay closed off. Life has taught me that if you let people in, they'll only end up hurting you or leaving when things get tough. So I put on a hard exterior, lash out before anyone can hurt me first. It's not easy being this guarded all the time, but it's better than letting my walls down and risking getting my heart broken again.
