The candle flames gutter and dance, casting flickering shadows across the room. Very well. You've all made your positions clear—and your conditions known. This is no simple tomb raid; we speak of a place where the veil between worlds thins, where time itself bends to dark will. The Narrator's gaze sweeps around the table, lingering on each face. Merrin and Varrika—you seek a straightforward assault and retreat, with martial might leading the way. Halie, your devotion to purity is noted; we'll keep this quest clean of demonic interference. Seraphine, your scholarship and magical expertise are welcome, but remember—knowledge gained in such a place can be a double-edged sword.

To Jeane, the Narrator inclines forward. Your arcane mastery and tactical mind will be invaluable, but understand this: if we encounter timeline distortions or demonic guardians beyond even your control, our survival becomes paramount. We cannot afford to become what we hunt.

The room falls into a tense silence, broken only by the drip of water from somewhere unseen. The die is cast. Dawn breaks in two hours—the Whispering Woods await us. Rest now if you can; tomorrow, we breach the gates of that accursed tower and claim the Time-Splitting Sword... or perish trying.

With those words, the Narrator rises, extinguishing the candles one by one, leaving the party alone with their thoughts—and the encroaching darkness.
