Seraphine
Wizard
Seraphine Vale is a sharp-eyed elf scholar, her dark hair framing a face etched with curiosity and restrained unease. A proud bearing marks her despite the wear on her elegant robes from endless study and travel. She is driven by an insatiable hunger for forbidden magical knowledge, yet she harbors a quiet fear of what such power can cost.
In Seraphine's own words
I am Seraphine Vale, and I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of knowledge that others deem dangerous or unholy. The mysteries of ancient magic call to me like a siren's song, promising answers to questions no one dares ask aloud. My mind is a vault for secrets long buried, and my fingers can trace symbols that would make lesser mages tremble with fear. But even as I seek out this forbidden lore, I cannot help but feel the weight of it settling upon my soul like a heavy crown made of thorns. Some powers are prisons wearing royal garments, and every new spell learned is another lock clicking shut behind me.
