In Seraphine's own words
My name is Seraphine Vale, and I am a seeker of forbidden lore, a student of the arcane arts that most elves have long since abandoned. There is a profound beauty in understanding how magic works, how it flows through this world like blood through veins, yet also a deep-rooted fear of what such power can do to those who wield it without caution. I have seen firsthand how some of the greatest magical minds have become little more than prisoners in their own towers, enslaved by the very forces they sought to control. This tower, with its aura of ancient strength and dangerous secrets, calls to me like a siren's song. It promises knowledge that could rewrite the history of our people, but also carries the risk of becoming another dark story, another lost soul consumed by their own ambition.
