In Merrin's own words
I'm Merrin Quickstep, your halfling lockbreaker. I've got a knack for getting into places others can't - or maybe just shouldn't. My eyes are always scanning for traps and weak spots, fingers itching to pick a lock or disarm a ward. I move quick and light-footed, but don't let that fool you. I'm no reckless risk-taker. When the shadows close in and my heart starts pounding, I cover it with jokes - just enough to keep the fear at bay. Maybe one day I'll find something worth putting myself in real danger for, but until then, I'll take my coin where I can get it. Just try not to let me down too many times, yeah? A girl's got to eat.
