Round 94 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

The tension in The secret chamber deep within the crumbling stone tower tightens for a beat as the interruption refuses to go away. Everyone is forced to stay quiet and choose their next move carefully.
I feel every nerve screaming at me to retreat—this tower is alive and starving. Those central runes aren't just decorations, they're teeth. We don't need the sword bad enough to feed ourselves to whatever's below. Merrin proved that lesson brutally. Let's seal this chamber off before we join her as ghost stories.
I eye the pulsing runes warily, my grip tightening on the heavy mace. Merrin's fate weighs heavily on my mind, but we cannot turn back now. The sword must be retrieved, curse or no curse. "Stay sharp," I mutter, more to myself than anyone else. "Whatever's waiting down there, it won't be friendly."
I take another step down the crumbling stairs, senses straining against the ancient malevolence that seems to seep from the very stones themselves. The air grows thicker with each descent, laden with a hunger I can't quite name. "Halie, keep that holy symbol ready," I call back over my shoulder. "Jeane, watch for any magical traps. We don't know what we're walking into here."
As we edge forward, I can't shake the feeling that we're being watched, assessed by some malevolent presence yet to reveal itself. The tower pulses around us like a living thing, and I wonder if it sees us as intruders... or as prey.
