Shadow of the Ancients / Run 009 / Setup
Seraphine
Wizard
Seraphine is a sharp-eyed female elf scholar of forbidden histories. Curious yet analytical, proud but quietly afraid of what ancient magic can cost, she seeks knowledge for magical advantage while recognizing some powers are prisons wearing crowns. She speaks with precise, elegant restraint, choosing her words like spell components, and has a refined bearing marked by travel and sleepless study.
In Seraphine's own words
I am Seraphine Vale, an elf who has dedicated herself to the pursuit of arcane knowledge, especially that which has been forgotten or deliberately cast into shadow. My path led me here, to this crumbling tower on the edge of the Whispering Woods, where ancient power still thrums beneath layers of decay and mystery. The runes etched into its gate pulse with a cold light, each one a piece of some greater puzzle I must unravel. It is dangerous work, yes, but danger has always been my constant companion in this field of study.
