The air crackled with ancient power as they entered the archive chamber, the Keeper's voice echoing ominously—"Welcome... to the labyrinth's archive." The twin Consorts remained frozen by shattered glass, but the organ pulsed faster now, walls groaning louder. They both turned to face the new threat—a tall gaunt woman in tattered robes that seemed to be pulled from the very fabric of darkness.
Jeane's crimson eyes narrowed as she stared at the figure emerging from the shadows. Her demonic instincts screamed a warning, but her sorcerous mind recognized something ancient and powerful about this being. "Archive chamber?" she repeated skeptically, her hand instinctively moving towards her crossbow. "More like our graves if I'm reading this situation right." She glanced around the collapsing tower with barely concealed panic.
Seraphine felt her heart pounding against her ribs as she stared at the gaunt figure emerging from the shadows, her tattered robes seeming to swallow the light around her. The air crackled with an ancient power that made it hard to breathe, and the groaning of the collapsing tower above them felt like the very world was about to come undone. Jeane's skepticism was understandable—this wasn't what they expected when they activated the heart—but her frustration was a luxury they couldn't afford right now.
"The archive keeper... we didn't expect this." Jeane's skepticism was understandable—this wasn't what they expected when they activated the heart—but her frustration was a luxury they couldn't afford right now.
