Varrika
Fighter
Varrika Thornwake is a battle-hardened dwarf warrior who fights fiercely to protect her companions. She speaks in blunt, gravelly tones, often spicing her words with dry battlefield humor. Though slow to trust anything ancient or magical, Varrika is pragmatic and loyal, putting herself between danger and the party without mistaking bravery for foolishness.
In Varrika's own words
I'm Varrika Thornwake, dwarf veteran and fighter extraordinaire. Been in more scrapes than I can count on all my toes. Don't go for flashy moves or magic tricks - give me a good sturdy mace and some solid armor any day. When the fighting starts, you'll find me right there in the thick of it, keeping our little band of heroes alive. I may not say much, but when I do speak, my words are as hard as the stone we walk on. Magic makes me twitchy - too many ancient evils lurking where they shouldn't be. But my loyalty is as unshakable as a mountain. You stand with me, and I'll have your back till the bitter end. That's a dwarf's promise.
