Setup

In the foreboding depths of the Whispering Woods, a lone figure emerges before an ancient stone tower, its entrance guarded by a massive gate sealed by writhing runes that pulse with an otherworldly power. Jeane Cromwell, her crimson eyes burning with intensity, stands at the forefront, her companions arrayed behind her like sentinels.

Halie's heavy mace rests at the ready, while Merrin's nimble fingers dance along the ancient stonework, searching for a weakness in the lock mechanism. Seraphine's elven eyes narrow as she studies the intricate patterns woven into the gate's surface, her fingers twitching with the urge to unravel their secrets.
