Varrika
Fighter
Varrika Thornwake is a battle-hardened female dwarf warrior who has seen her share of combat. She is pragmatic, loyal to her companions, and has a dry wit that often reveals itself in grim battlefield humor. Though she's no stranger to danger, Varrika isn't foolhardy - she carefully weighs risks before acting. Her gravelly voice carries the weight of experience as she offers blunt advice and wisdom born from years on the front lines. Despite her tough exterior, there's a core of solidity to Varrika that makes her a steadfast presence in any adventuring party.
In Varrika's own words
I'm Varrika Thornwake, and I've been around long enough to know that life doesn't give you many breaks. You either get up and keep fighting when things go wrong or you end up dead. That's the hard truth of it, but there are times when even the strongest dwarf needs someone to watch their back. In this business, trust is earned one battle at a time. I don't put my faith in magic - it's unpredictable and too often ends with people getting hurt. Give me solid steel and a shield wall any day.
