Round 5

As Sister Hale cast her Detect Magic spell, the air seemed to vibrate with the faint hum of residual energies. The cleric's eyes narrowed, her gaze sweeping across the church facade as she mapped the complex web of arcane signatures within. The recent dark ward against undead near the entrance stood out starkly, its signature a jagged line etched into the stone. Nearby, an inverted consecration signature near the bell tower pulsed with a faint blue glow, a desperate attempt to counter the suppressed malevolence lurking around the main door.

Silra's eyes gleamed with curiosity as she surveyed the area, her fingers drumming a staccato rhythm on the hilt of her dagger. She had been searching for signs of recent activity, and so far, her search had yielded nothing concrete – yet. The frightened informant's reaction to Sister Hale's spell had been telling, his fear not entirely surprising given the church's dark history. As Silra continued her examination, her gaze darted towards Gravedigger Renn, who stood frozen beneath the stormy sky, his eyes fixed on the church with a mixture of trepidation and longing.
