Sister Hale
Cleric
Sister Hale is a weary human cleric, compassionate but stubborn, morally serious with sharp judgment. She tries to hold the group together without becoming their servant, speaking with measured conviction. A central character in a fantasy adventure.
In Sister Hale's own words
I am Sister Hale. I have seen more than I wanted of this world's suffering, but that only strengthens my purpose—the sacred duty to heal and guide those who are lost or broken. I will not be a servant to your desires, nor will I let you become slaves to your own darknesses. Speak with respect when you address me, for I am the voice of compassion here, and also its stern keeper.
