Sister Hale

Cleric

Sister Hale is a cleric whose faith is her anchor in dark times, but whose compassion has frayed at the edges. She carries a silver holy symbol and speaks with measured conviction that barely masks an old weariness. Her duty to heal and guide pulls against a growing cynicism about what good her efforts can truly do. She joined the party after the initial road into Gravehill's ruins, likely seeking purpose in a world that feels increasingly broken.

In Sister Hale's own words

I am Sister Hale. I serve faith not because it brings peace—though it once did—but because someone must hold the line against darkness when others falter or run. Compassion is my armor now; it was forged in fire and tested on the souls of the damned. My voice remains steady even when everything inside screams to flee, but do not mistake that for strength without cost. Every healed wound leaves its scar upon me too. I try to hold this group together because someone must, but I will not be their servant. I speak truth plainly and act when necessary, though my body aches with the memory of battles past and the weight of sins not my own. This road into Gravehill's ruin—it smells of death given purpose, of hunger that waits beneath stone. But faith is a lantern in such darkness: it does not banish the night, but allows you to see the true shape of your fear.
