Phase: resolution · forced · organic escalating

As Sister Hale stepped forward, the lantern in their inventory flickered violently, casting eerie shadows on the ground. "We have to act fast!" she called out, her voice barely audible over the growing din. The bridge beneath them creaked ominously, swaying ominously as it began to collapse. Gravedigger Renn stammered out a warning: "The chasm! Whatever's down there, it's getting closer!" Jeane's eyes darted towards Sister Hale, her own exhaustion momentarily eclipsed by the cleric's urgent tone.
Sister Hale reached for the unholy symbol around her neck, its presence seeming to anchor her in the face of the unfolding disaster. "We test the bridge together," she declared, her hand outstretched as if to steady herself against the impending collapse. Jeane nodded, her arcane sight probing deeper into the chaos, seeking answers beyond what mundane eyes could see. The air grew colder, and the wrongness signatures intensified beneath their feet, a palpable force that seemed to be drawing them closer to the edge.
As Sister Hale took the first step onto the bridge, its creaking grew louder, the sound of it giving way to the void below echoing through the air. Jeane followed closely behind, her hand still clutching the rusted key, its weight a constant reminder that there might be more to this collapse than mere coincidence.
