Round 2

[Narrator | Narrator]
The Narrator restates the undertaking plainly, fixes the stakes in the room, and presses the cast to make their positions clear before the meeting can end.

[Jeane | Sorcerer]
Jeane Cromwell's eyes narrow as she considers the venture. Starting a new religion in Gravehill is not for the faint of heart, and I see no fools among us. Very well—if Renn's information proves solid and the coins flow as promised, then yes, I will participate. But on one condition: I need to inspect the church foundations myself before we commit resources. If there are traps or lingering entities down there that would make restoration a suicide mission, I want to know it now rather than when my rituals are already in motion and some ghoul tears through the basement floor.

[Silra | Rogue]
Silra taps her dagger against the table, the scrape sharp enough to cut through the tension. I'll play along if there's coin and sense in it—no grand crusades for me. But I want a proper survey of that church before we commit. Every hidden shaft, every rotten floorboard needs checking. If Renn's key works on the first try without triggering something foul, I'll believe in miracles—and then I might start planning how to fence whatever valuables are buried under that place. Until then, this is just a risky investment with too many unknown variables and grave markers for comfort.

[Sister Hale | Cleric]
Before we commit to restoration work, I must perform a ritual of cleansing and blessing over the entire site—both inside the church and beneath it in the catacombs, if such exist. If my rites reveal no active malevolence that would defy my powers to cleanse, then I will join this endeavor with all my faith and skill. But I will not build a house of worship upon ground that still weeps blood or holds voices that command unholy service—I am here to restore light, not invite deeper shadow.
