Round 1 Transcript

Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

N

Narrator · Narrator

The Narrator lets the room settle and lays out the immediate proposition in concrete terms, making clear that the cast must answer what is being asked of them before anything can move forward.

J

Jeane · Sorcerer

I understand the task, though its implications are not lost on me. Gravehill is a cursed city, and starting any kind of cult—especially one focused on such… intimate rituals —is an invitation for scrutiny from powers that do not take kindly to blasphemy or competition. We cannot simply rebuild this church and expect no attention. I will participate if we have a clear strategy to obscure our activities and if someone can guarantee the loyalty of any followers we attract. I want assurances, not vague promises.

S

Silra · Rogue

I'm with Jeane on this—rebuilding a sex cult church in a city full of corpses sounds like a 'please get us executed' scheme. The real question isn't the task, it's who we'll piss off doing it. Gravedigger mentioned guards and things under the streets. Those aren't minor annoyances; they're executioners with sharp blades or worse. If there's a way to do this quietly, using leverage on local authorities or exploiting their corruption, fine. But if we're walking into an obvious target painted in 'fuck us' colors, I'm out.

S

Sister Hale · Cleric

I understand this is a perilous undertaking, and I won't pretend otherwise. But the church we're meant to rebuild—it's not merely stone and wood; it's a beacon of hope in a place that has none. The people here are suffering, trapped between despair and whatever horrors lurk below. I will participate on one condition: our efforts must prioritize genuine relief for the living, even if it means we must navigate the shadows to do so. I won't sacrifice my faith's core purpose for mere power or indulgence.
