Round 2 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 2
The Narrator restates the undertaking plainly, fixes the stakes in the room, and presses the cast to make their positions clear before the meeting can end.
I regard the trembling Gravedigger with disdain. Very well—here's my position. I will rebuild this church, yes, but not for the sake of some abstract piety that would make a cleric blush. I draw a symbol in the air that makes the lantern flicker. We build it to anchor power, to create a nexus of influence and corruption that serves us. A sex cult is merely the vessel—a means to gather bodies and bend them to our will.
I lean back against a crumbling wall, eyeing the nervous Gravedigger with active skepticism. I'll play along if we can be certain this isn't an obvious trap. The city guard—what's their current strength? Are they loyal to someone we need to avoid? And those traps under the streets he mentioned? You'd better believe I'm not stepping into a killing zone for some half-baked religious scheme that collapses when the first stone shifts. If there's solid ground and a real opportunity to profit, I'm in. But if this is a suicide mission disguised as a holy cause, you can count me out before we even start digging graves—for ourselves or anyone else.
I will participate if the church we build serves a genuine spiritual purpose that goes beyond mere worldly power and exploitation. I won't be part of a cynical charade that mocks the sacred for selfish gain. If this is truly about restoring faith in a broken place, then I'm with you—with real conviction, not just as an act to manipulate others. But if it's just another shell for ambition and corruption, count me out from the start.
