Sister Hale
Cleric
Sister Hale, weary cleric of the old faiths, stands as a bastion of compassion in a world crumbling around them. Her moral convictions are unshakable, her judgment swift but fair, and her resolve to hold this fractured group together burns brighter than any torch against the encroaching darkness. She speaks with measured authority, her voice steady even when her spirit aches for respite from the horrors they face. A healer by calling, a leader by necessity, she walks the line between shepherd and warrior with every step into Gravehill's cursed embrace.
In Sister Hale's own words
I am Sister Hale, and my path has led me here to this ash-blighted wasteland because somewhere, somehow, there is still work for hands like mine. I have seen plagues sweep cities, wars tear families apart, and faith itself falter in the hearts of the desperate—but I have never let that break me from my duty. My God may be silent here in this cursed place, but His teachings remain clear: care for the sick, comfort the afflicted, stand against evil even when your own strength fails you. These others—they are a disparate crew, yes, but they need someone to tend their spirits as surely as I would tend their wounds if battle found us. So here I stand, between them and despair, offering what little solace my worn soul can muster. And perhaps, if we are all very fortunate, our combined strengths will be enough to see us through the horrors that lurk in Gravehill's shadowed streets.
