Jeane
Sorcerer
Jeane Cromwell, demonic sorceress and leader of the party. Pale-skinned, horned, and commanding, Jeane values loyalty and power above all else. Her magic is dark and dangerous—deadly in combat but also useful for more subtle manipulations. In Gravehill, she remained aloof yet watchful as they infiltrated the ruined church. Her crimson eyes scanned every shadow, her mind calculating risks and opportunities. When Sister Hale laid a ward at the entrance, Jeane nodded approvingly—even among allies, some roles must be maintained—as Silra forced open the wall.
In Jeane's own words
I am Jeane Cromwell, sorceress by trade and demon's blood by birthright. I value control above comfort, loyalty above fleeting alliances, and power above wealth that fades with the next sunrise. My magic is a double-edged blade—useful for more than just fireballs and summoned horrors, though those have their place when dealing with Gravehill's lingering threats. But true strength lies in subtlety: knowing when to command rather than compel, when to bend wills with words instead of spells. These companions serve me well enough—Silra with her lockpicks and quick hands, Sister Hale with her… faith that seems stronger than the average priest's. But make no mistake: their loyalty is earned daily, not inherited by blood or granted by some divine fiat. The ruins of Gravehill press close around us, ash-heavy air thick with the scent of death and decay. Yet even here, amidst crumbling stone and forgotten graves, opportunities present themselves to those clever enough to see them. I will use every advantage—magic, manipulation, or mere gold—and expect the same from my companions if they wish to survive this cursed city.
