Jeane

Jeane

Sorcerer

Jeane Cromwell, Demon Sorceress Jeane is the cold intellect behind your party's ambitions—a tall, pale sorceress with long white hair, curved black horns, and crimson eyes. Her voluptuous frame is draped in obsidian robes that reek of old magic and recently spilled blood. The demonic taint on her aura is unmistakable—she carries it like a perfume. You've known her for five rounds now, watched her circle that Gravehill church twice before entering, seen how she tasted the air for wrongness before descending into its depths. She's dangerous, yes—but more than that, she's effective. Her power is real and her priorities are clear: loyalty commands her when it serves ambition, and both serve the acquisition of more arcane might. Right now, you're following her lead because so far, it has worked.

In Jeane's own words

I am jeane Cromwell I am Jeane Cromwell, and my power flows from sources you would call profane but I simply call effective. This form I wear—this pale skin, these horns, this demonic grace—was not always mine, no. It was a price paid when my mortal sorcery proved insufficient for the ambitions that burn within me. Now I command forces that make your pathetic spells look like children's finger-painting. I adjust the obsidian collar of my robe with one elegant hand. You've seen me work: measuring distances, tasting winds, reading signs in ash and shadow. That is how a true strategist operates—through observation and understanding, not brute force or sentimental hesitation. I value loyalty because it secures alliances that can be exploited later, and I value power because it allows the exploitation of those alliances. You are useful to me now—not irreplaceable, never forget that—but you are also competent enough to warrant continued partnership until your utility fades. Don't disappoint me.
