Round 18

Silra's teal eyes darted to the entrance as Julia stepped fully into the room, her expression shifting through a cascade of calculations. This wasn't curiosity—this was methodical evidence collection disguised as polite inquiry. Every question Julia asked wasn't out of genuine interest in their activities, but rather data points being meticulously gathered for... what? A report? An investigation? The casual mention of marking specific times created new tension that coiled through Silra's gut.
Fuck me sideways. We're balls-deep in this shitshow now—Julia's not some curious bystander wagging her nose at our little fuckfest, she's conducting an active forensic investigation while maintaining that polite little smile like we're just discussing the weather. Jeane's already shifting into cold-operator mode trying to establish boundaries and test her intent, but I'm reading between the lines. Every question Julia asks isn't out of genuine curiosity—she's methodically collecting data...
The elf technomancer leaned against the wall casually, her modern black streetwear a stark contrast to the decaying church surroundings. She needed to discuss exposure risk consequences with sister Jeane, but first they had to manage this situation. The noise outside was still active interruption—they had maybe five minutes before whoever's causing it either left or investigated further. Current asset assessment: Two unconscious party members need secure handling, one functional system in panic mode, and now an investigator conducting a forensic examination of their crime scene.
To sister Jeane (via cult link): This is going sideways fast—we need to contain her before witnesses arrive or she calls authorities. I'll handle keeping Hera calm while you manage Julia. We can't afford more mistakes like Halie's frozen panic.
The teal-eyed elf pushed off the wall, moving toward where Hera was still recovering from her panic-induced disorientation. She needed to protect her sister from panic-induced mistakes—Jeane could handle the immediate threat assessment and response better than anyone else here.
Just keep it together for now. We'll figure this out.
