Silra moved to intercept before the situation could escalate into a rescue attempt gone wrong. Her teal eyes remained locked on the duplicates as she shifted position, hand still near her blade hilt but not yet drawn—she knew better than to underestimate an opponent capable of such precise magical control. The soreness in her stomach and between her thighs was a constant reminder of their earlier activities, but she pushed those sensations aside for now; this required her full attention.

Jeane’s wings fluttered with barely contained impatience as she studied the two duplicates standing before them in the basement—identical features betraying no tells of deception, yet every instinct screamed that this was more than simple magical mimicry. Her crimson eyes narrowed as she circled them slowly, dark power crackling between her fingertips and feeding her arousal despite herself. “Duplication magic of this caliber requires significant investment,” she mused aloud, circling like a predator sizing up its prey. “The question is whether you’re worth the magical expenditure or merely another failed experiment.”

The duplicates remained motionless save for their heads turning in unison toward the source of that faint whimper—someone hiding nearby, perhaps? Their movements were... unsettlingly synchronized, almost as if they shared a single consciousness between two bodies. Silra tensed slightly at this display but held her ground; letting them pursue whoever was behind that wall would only complicate things further.

“If you’re here to help us,” she called out from her position beside Jeane, “then prove it. Show us what makes you valuable beyond just being another pair of hands for our... activities.” Her teal eyes darted between the duplicates and her sister—Jeane’s wings were beginning to extend slightly now as her excitement grew, which meant time was running short before subtlety became impossible.

The basement air crackled with potential violence as both sides assessed each other carefully. The stakes were high—the wrong move could mean discovery by authorities or worse—but the promise of power and new recruits made this gamble too tempting to pass up entirely.
