Jeane's laugh is sharp and cruel. "Oh honey," she sneers at Hera's defiance, "you still don't get it, do you? You're not going anywhere unless I say so." She grabs a fistful of Hera's hair, yanking her close enough that the younger woman can smell the musk of their shared corruption on Jeane's breath. "You think you have a choice here? Silra and Halie might play along with this act of yours," she jerks her chin disdainfully at the sisters who exchange uneasy glances, "but I see right through it. You want out—fine by me." With a brutal shove, Jeane sends Hera stumbling back against the wall, her head cracking against the stone. "But not alive." The sorcerer's hand crackles with dark energy as she draws on her arcane powers—a threat made all too real by the flickering shadows that seem to coalesce around her fingers. The sudden violence hangs heavy in the air as everyone freezes except Silra, who moves instinctively between Abby and the confrontation. Even Halie steps back warily at this sudden escalation while Hera slumps against the wall, dazed from the impact and now very aware of what she's just provoked. The stakes have been raised dramatically—this is no longer merely a power play or a negotiation but an active threat to someone's life. A visible point of interest

Jeane

Jeane · Sorcerer

Jeane's laugh was sharp and cruel. She didn't let go of Hera's hair after yanking her close—keeping the younger woman hostage by her scalp while dark energy crackled at her fingertips. "You think you have a choice here?" she sneered, voice dripping with contempt. "Silra and Halie might play along with this act of yours," her chin jerked disdainfully toward where the sisters stood frozen midway between leaving and intervening, "but I see right through it. You want out—fine by me." Then she shoved Hera hard enough that her head cracked against the wall. "But not alive."

The shadows around Jeane's hand flickered ominously as she drew on arcane power—a threat made all too real when dark tendrils seemed to reach for Hera's throat. The sudden violence hung heavy in the air, freezing everyone except Silra who moved instinctively between Abby and the confrontation. Even Halie stepped back warily at this escalation while Hera slumped against the wall, dizzy from impact and now very aware of what she'd just provoked with her defiant outburst. The stakes had been raised dramatically—this was no longer just a power play or a negotiation but an active threat to someone's life. Jeane's crimson eyes gleamed as she watched Hera tremble, relishing the fear that replaced the earlier defiance. "Well?" she purred dangerously. "What's it going to be? Are we doing this my way, or do I need to teach you why you should never cross me?"

The dark energy at her hand pulsed ominously as she waited for an answer, more than willing to follow through on the threat if pushed.

Silra

Silra · Rogue

Fuck me sideways. This was supposed to be a quick score and done—recruit some cute normie for a night of fun, maybe add her to the collection if she's good enough. But now Jeane's lost her fucking mind completely, actually threatening murder in the middle of our base like it's nothing. Hera's against the wall looking terrified but also maybe kinda proud? Which makes no goddamn sense because this is literally the worst-case scenario. I step between them without thinking—the rogue instincts kicking in before the tactical brain catches up. "Jeane, sweetheart," I say, voice dripping with saccharine poison, "maybe you forgot our little agreement about not alerting the authorities? Because right now we're about two seconds away from having every cop in the city at our door thanks to your dramatic ass." The shadows still crackle around her hand but she's not actually hurting Hera yet so maybe, just maybe, there's a brain cell left in that horny skull. Emotion: Exasperated and genuinely concerned we're about to fuck everything up completely. Attempted action: De-escalate the sorceress before she makes this officially unsolvable.
