Halie

I stand in the dim church basement, my eyes taking in the scene with both pity and judgment. This is what I've come to tend—a scattered flock, bound not by faith but by flesh. The smell of stale pleasure clings to these walls like a sinful perfume, and yet, I cannot away. My calling is clear: to heal bodies and souls alike, even when the path leads through depravity. I meet each gaze steadily, refusing to flinch from the evidence of their night. You are lost, yes—but not beyond redemption. That is why I am here, why I will endure this work alongside you. To be your cleric does not mean to be your servant; it means to speak truth when you need it most. My voice finds a steady rhythm as I address them directly. What happened here last night—it was a perversion of purpose, no matter how pleasurable. We must find our way back to righteousness, even if the path is steep and narrow. I will walk beside you, but I cannot carry your burdens for you.
