Halie

Cleric

Halie, weary but unwavering, her eyes scanning the abandoned church's thick atmosphere—a mix of dust, age, and something else. Her cleric's instincts hum beneath tired flesh; she knows this is no ordinary decay. The group needs guidance, stability, not another complication. She speaks with measured conviction: "We should proceed carefully, respecting this space while ensuring our safety." Her hand moves to the small silver cross at her neck—a gesture of grounding as much as faith—as she prepares to offer healing or counsel, whatever the situation demands.

In Halie's own words

My name is Halie. I am a cleric, and my purpose is to tend to those who suffer—body, mind, and soul. This journey we're on... it's wearing. Each step forward seems to cost more than the last. But stopping isn't an option. The world needs healing, even if it doesn't always want it. I try not to judge too harshly—I've seen enough darkness to know how easily it can corrupt—but there are lines that shouldn't be crossed, morals that mustn't be bent. Keeping this group together means holding fast to those principles, even when everyone else wants to give in to... whatever temptation Jeane conjures next. The air here is thick with her magic—sweet and cloying—and I can feel it trying to seep into my thoughts, cloud my judgment. But I won't let it. Not today. Not ever.
