Her wings shift restlessly as she considers their next move. "The authorities approach? How delightfully inconvenient. But that only sharpens my resolve. We must proceed with utmost haste and discretion." She turns to Silra, her voice low. "Are you prepared to continue our holy mission despite the... complications?"

Silra leans against a peeling wall column, her teal eyes scanning every exit route. "Prepared? I'm exhausted, sticky with fluids, and currently hiding from the law in what looks like the set of a cheap porn film." She meets Jeane's gaze steadily. "But yeah, I'm prepared. Because that's what we do—we adapt, we overcome, we complete the quest even when it sucks ass." Her fingers tighten around a small blade hidden in her sleeve. "Just don't expect me to enjoy it."

Jeane's lips curve into something between a smirk and a grimace. "Enjoyment is not the objective here—results are. Now, let us prepare for our... guest." She moves toward Clarice, her hips swaying with predatory grace despite obvious exhaustion. "Welcome, my dear. I'm so glad you could join us tonight."

Silra watches them approach, her expression unreadable. "Just remember—if this goes sideways, I'm blaming you."
