The church's interior is a monument to decaying faith. Candles gutter on the altar, casting flickering shadows that dance across peeling paint. Jeane breathes heavily, still panting from exertion—her skin glistens with sweat despite the cool air. She looks at the door, then back to you and The Force, her eyes gleaming with both exhaustion and unmistakable hunger. The church's isolation offers privacy, but also vulnerability—the sound of distant traffic a constant reminder that the world lies just beyond these walls.

There's a sudden noise from outside—a car door shutting? Or maybe just the wind catching something? The tension in the room spikes as all three of you freeze mid-motion. The sound didn't come from immediately nearby, but close enough to be concerning. Jeane glances nervously at the stained-glass windows—they offer beauty but no protection.

The Force is already moving, instinctively checking his equipment while keeping a hand free. He looks between you and Jeane with an expression that says "we need to keep going" mixed with "what now?" The atmosphere crackles with possibility—completion of the quest hangs tantalizingly close, but the risk has just escalated dramatically.

What do you do next?

Silra

Silra · Rogue

I'm not thrilled about this setup.

The abandoned church feels wrong—too public, too many eyes. We're here to corrupt women, not get arrested for lewd acts in a house of god. The air smells of dust and decay, and I can feel the weight of history pressing down on us.

Julia is staring at me like I'm her next meal, but I'm more concerned about Clarice lurking outside. We need privacy for this operation, not an audience or potential interference.

My inventory feels inadequate—too many toys, not enough discretion. I glance at my exhausted companion, then back to the dusty pews and the flickering candlelight. This is a bad plan, but it's the only one we have.

I step closer to Julia, keeping my voice low. "We need to move this somewhere more… private. The church isn't safe."

Jeane

Jeane · Sorcerer

Jeane surveys the abandoned church's main chamber—cobwebs thick enough to choke an ogre. This place is... she pauses mid-thought, ...unpleasantly dusty and haunted by rumors, it seems. Perfect for clandestine pursuits, though hardly ideal for hosting potential recruits.

The cult leader's crimson eyes flick toward the doorway where Clarice still loiters. She'll need convincing before she joins us here—and we can't afford witnesses tonight. Jeane retrieves a small vial from her robes with deliberate casualness. Perhaps some persuasive draught first?

She approaches Clarice, wings furled neatly against her back, My dear, let's retire somewhere more... intimate. This church is splendid for atmosphere, but hardly comfortable.
