Jeane pulled her wings closer around herself as she sat on the cold stone floor of the abandoned church, trying to ignore the lingering scent of their activities and the dust that seemed to coat everything in this place. Her mind was still spinning from their narrow escape earlier—she could hear footsteps approaching outside even now—and she knew they needed to get out soon before someone stumbled upon them doing... whatever it was they were doing.

Across from her, Silra had positioned herself against one of the ancient walls, looking equally exhausted but alert. The elf's silver-blonde hair was disheveled and her usually bright teal eyes seemed dull with fatigue, though she still managed to look ready for action if needed. Jeane knew that despite appearances, Silra wasn't as comfortable with their current situation as she made out—she'd seen the conflicted glances earlier when they were 'working' on Julia.

Speaking of which... The two women who had been their focus tonight stood near each other now, looking nervous but excited in a way that made Jeane's stomach twist with something between pride and shame. She pushed those feelings aside—they had a quest to complete, after all. But as she watched Clarice reach out tentatively towards Julia, something shifted inside her. Was this really what they were meant to do? Was corrupting innocent women into their 'cult' truly the path to glory?

The footsteps outside grew louder for a moment before receding again, snapping Jeane back to attention. They needed to leave—needed to find somewhere safer than this public church where they could regroup and figure out their next move without fear of discovery. But more importantly, maybe they needed to have an honest conversation about what exactly it was they were doing here.

"Alright," she said softly, pushing herself up off the floor with a groan that betrayed her exhaustion. "Let's get out of here before someone actually catches us. We can head back to our hideout and... discuss things." She met Silra's eyes across the room—silent communication passing between them about everything they hadn't said aloud tonight—and nodded towards the exit.
