In the abandoned church, where shadows still lingered from the night before, Jeane stood amidst the remnants of their tryst, her dark hair disheveled and her eyes flashing with irritation. Silra, her companion, lay entwined with Jeane, their bodies tangled in a testament to the passions that had consumed them.

The air was heavy with the scent of decay, sex, and sweat, mingling with the distant sounds of the city awakening outside. As morning light crept into the church, Halie pushed herself upright, her habit hitched up around her thighs, surveying the mess they'd made. The city's proximity pressed in through the stone walls, making Hera's skin prickle with unease as she slowly regained consciousness.
